Can I use U Beauty Resurfacing Compound morning and night?

Yes. We recommend using it morning & night for 2 weeks. After that, you can reduce to using it only at night if you desire.

Can I use the product while I'm pregnant or nursing?
All U Beauty products are EU compliant, fragrance-free and have been dermatologically tested to be suitable for all skin types. The U Beauty Resurfacing Compound contains retinol ingredients. If you are pregnant or nursing, consult your doctor before use.

Can I use this product with other skincare?
Yes. However, avoid using other resurfacing products while using U Beauty. Avoid oil based products underneath the compound. These could inhibit absorption and cause pilling. We recommend to apply compound atop clean, dry skin. Allow compound to fully dry for about 30 seconds. Follow with your favorite moisturizer and SPF for daytime.

Are your products safe to use around the eyes?
Yes, our products are safe to use around the eyes. Avoid getting product directly into the eyes.

I like the results I'm experiencing after the first two weeks. Do I have to cut back to using the product once a day?
The Resurfacing Compound results will begin to emerge after 3-6 days of use. After two weeks of use, two times per day, skin cell turnover is optimized, and the climate (in which skin circulation and turnover are happening) is improved. This optimization means all skin functionality is improving! The barrier which holds in moisture is becoming stronger. 

Deciding to reduce use from two times per day to just one time per day is based on the rate at which it takes one's skin cell turnover to improve. If you see brighter, smoother skin, move to one time a day. Normal, non-sensitive skin users can continue to use two times a day. If at any time dryness begins to occur, reduce use to just one time per day, preferably at night. 

I'm having some irritation after using the Resurfacing Compound the first few days. What should I do?
It is possible skin will purge during the first few days of use. This should subside after the first week. If redness or irritation continue, reduce use to just one time a day or every other day. If redness or irritation persist, discontinue use.

Is it normal for the product to pill?
Oil based products applied beneath the Resurfacing Compound can preclude proper absorption and result in product pilling. To avoid, apply the compound atop clean skin and allow to fully dry before applying a second layer. Also, it is normal to experience some skin shedding during first use. This will subside once normal skin turnover becomes optimized.
